Privacy Policy

The short version: BFS collects no personal data. None. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and the app makes no network requests of its own. The rest of this page just spells that out.

What the app stores

Your creature collection, your unlock status, and your display preferences are saved locally on your device only. They are never transmitted to us — we have no servers to send them to. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Purchases

The one-time collection unlock is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details, name, or email. Purchases, refunds, and receipts are governed by Apple's and Google's own terms and privacy policies. Your device keeps a local record that the unlock was purchased so the app can honor it.

The websites

discoverbfs.app, play.discoverbfs.app, and classic.discoverbfs.app are static pages served by Cloudflare's content delivery network. We run no analytics on them and set no tracking cookies. Like virtually all web infrastructure, Cloudflare may process standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) transiently to serve and secure the sites; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. The simulations on these pages run entirely in your browser.

Children

BFS is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no data from anyone, we collect no data from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future feature genuinely needs a network connection — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
